A lush twist on the Old Pal or Boulevardier, with cognac’s smooth richness up front. Campari and sweet vermouth provide a familiar bittersweet backbone, while cinnamon syrup adds warmth and spice. Chocolate bitters round it all out with depth and a hint of indulgence. Bright, sultry, and just a little seductive.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ⅓ oz (40 ml) cognac
- ⅔ oz (20 ml) Campari
- ⅓ oz sweet vermouth, Carpano Antica Formula
- 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon syrup
- 2 dashes STB chocolate bitters
METHOD
- In a mixing glass, combine the ingredients
- Stir until chilled
- Strain over ice into an old fashioned glass
- Garnish with an orange twist
